"Getting this award has allowed me the opportunity to make a switch from my full-time work as a social worker to starting grad studies in a different field and building a whole new set of skills...I would like to thank the Sentator Thomas Crerar Scholarship Committee and the Cultural Studies Grad Program Committee for providing me with this once in a lifetime opportunity. I am looking forward to growing academically and exploring new horizons in the rich and vast field of Cultural Studies."
